2009 1A State Champions

After losing their first game of the 2009 season on a last-second shot, the Bruins took the next 20 games in championship style, finishing with a pair of 2-0 wins in the semifinals and finals of the WIAA State Championship weekend at Sunset Chev Stadium in Sumner Washington.

Compiling a league and district best 15 wins, 96 goals for, and only 10 against, in the regular season, the Bruins claimed their third consecutive Trico League title. After defeating the Forks Spartans 4-2 for their second consecutive district crown, they went on to defeat Lynden Christian 3-1 and Overlake 2-1 before finishing the state playoffs with a pair of shutouts against Seattle Academy and Connell, ending the season with a record of 20-1.

The 2008 season saw the Bruins completing a 13-1 regular season, capturing the Trico League title. With wins against Montesano and Forks in the district playoffs, the SWW1A District 4 title was also theirs. In the state tournament to follow, the Bruins defeated University Prep and Charles Wright Academy to reach the final four. A 2-1 loss to Kings dropped the Bruins to the consolation match, where they rebounded with a 4-3 overtime victory against Connell to claim 3rd place in state.
