Proposed courses for next year are now available. You'll receive a print copy in Advisory to help you plan for next year, but if you need a copy here and now, it's available. Keep in mind that not all courses listed in the catalog will necessarily be offered. Some depend on student interest, staff availability, and other schedule considerations. Make your choices known through your forecasting sheet. |

The White Salmon Valley School District is asking voters to continue their strong support of our schools by passing a replacement levy on February 14, 2012. This replacement levy features no increase on the last levy amount, and, if approved by local voters, will be used to support basic operating expenses of our schools through the 2013/14 and 2014/15 school years.
More information and details are available online, or in the most recent Bear News, which was mailed to local postal patrons at the start of January. If you did not receive a copy, please ask for one at any of the school offices or at the district office. |

This school year's first conferences will take place Tuesday-Friday, October 11th-October 14th in Columbia High School's Gerald Miller Gymnasium. This year's conferences will use a new format, where parents and guardians do not have to make appointments to see teachers. Instead, the arena conferencing format will allow parents, guardians, and students to drop in when most convenient to speak with the teachers and staff they most want to see. Times for the conferences are as follows: - Tuesday, Oct 11th from 12:45 to 3:30
- Wednesday, Oct 12th from 6:00 to 8:30
- Thursday, Oct 13th from 6:00 to 8:30
- Friday, Oct 14th from 12:45 to 3:30
Classes for the day will be dismissed at 12:05 on all four days. For more information about the conferences or to make arrangements for a conference outside those times, please call the main office at (509)493-1970. |
